John Lewis is advising customers of a fault in its food processors where the blade could crack and detach.

The John Lewis food processors involved in the recall are DFP14BCNJLU and DLC2009, with stock numbers: 855 47802 and 855 41904.

In a statement, the retailer said, "We have identified a potential issue where in some rare instances cracks may be found in riveted blades which could lead to a portion of the blade to detach."

They are conducting a voluntary riveted blade replacement for the John Lewis processors:
DFP14BCNJLU (stock no. 855 47802) and DLC2009 (855 41904) sold between 2007 and 2013.

If you own one of these models and it has a riveted blade, please contact the supplier, using the free phone number 0800 9888 104 to arrange for a free replacement blade.
